UbuntuCreators connects South African brands with content creators for paid user-generated content campaigns. Brands fund a campaign budget, creators post content and submit it for tracking, and payouts are calculated from verified view counts pulled directly from each platform's official API.
You need an account to use the platform, as either a brand or a creator. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. One person or company should not operate multiple accounts to circumvent campaign limits.
Brands set a brief, rate, and budget for each campaign. Creators post content on their own social media accounts first, then submit the post link for tracking — we never post content on a creator's behalf. Brands review each submission before it becomes eligible for payout.
Brands fund campaigns in advance; funds are tracked in escrow and released as submissions are approved and clear the review window. Creator payouts run in a weekly batch via PayPal. UbuntuCreators does not extend credit — a campaign cannot go live until it is fully funded.
Brands may reject a submission that doesn't meet the campaign brief or platform quality gates (minimum views, minimum engagement rate, minimum followers), with a reason provided to the creator. Rejected submissions are not eligible for payout.
You may not use bots, purchased engagement, fake accounts, or any other means to artificially inflate views, likes, comments, or shares. Submissions found to be fraudulent will be flagged, rejected, and may result in account suspension.
Creators retain ownership of the content they create, subject to any usage rights granted to the brand as described in the campaign brief. Brands retain ownership of source footage they provide for clip-mode campaigns.
Either party may close their account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, including fraudulent submissions or abuse of the platform.
UbuntuCreators is provided as-is. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the platform, including disputes between brands and creators over campaign outcomes.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
